This week, we had the pleasure of hosting Laura Quick from ProjectPamana at U. Glasgow who presented a very hi-rez topographic dataset of a gravel river over several years. This is done to improve understanding of evolving flood risk.

We had the pleasure of hosting Eyal Marder from IU Earth & Atmos Sci this week who presented his work on the interplay of tectonics, climate, and biodiversity in mountain landscapes.

To cap the week, Eric Deal presented his new work on river channel width and the physical models to capture it.

Last summer for Earth Surface Process Modelling at GFZ's contribution to LNDW23, #fastscape was used together with Jupyter widgets to create a special kind of photo booth. A fun way to show how landscape evolution models work!
