Today, we celebrated the groundbreaking at Walnut Crossing, a new affordable housing neighborhood in Waukee that will feature 48 townhomes. This partnership with the City of Waukee will give local families an opportunity to establish roots and build generational wealth.

I joined the Walnut Crossing Development groundbreaking, where GDM Habitat is bringing 48 new affordable townhomes to Waukee. This is an exciting step forward in expanding access to affordable housing and building stronger Iowa communities.

🔑➡️🏠 Last week, Adaga closed on her home, becoming Habitat's 10th new homeowner this year. Another key was added to our wall, representing another successful journey to homeownership. Congratulations, Adaga! 🥳🎉

This week, our team and volunteers are building with Greenfield. Habitat for Humanity is helping build two new homes for families who were impacted by the 2024 tornado. Thank you to Casey's, CoBank, and Schildberg Construction for making these builds possible!
