A day well spent with Bamburi Community Stakeholders on our first of three day session on #MentalHealthLiteracy . The energy, commitment and willingness to learn from the group was so encouraging and we are excited for tomorrow's learnings.

Today we commence our 3 Day training workshop on Mental Health Literacy for Adults at G4G HQ. This particular training's goal is to equip, empower and enrich our community stakeholders in Bamburi, with the knowledge on #MentalHealth & their role in their communities as leaders.
The latest Global Mental Health Status indicates that 23% of individuals in Kenya are experiencing distress and grappling with mental health challenges.
Therefore, from the figures in the #mentalhealth report, it can be inferred that approximately 10.9M Kenyans are distressed.
