**ROAD OPEN**

We earlier advised of an RTC on KIRKHAM BYPASS. We can confirm the road is now fully open in both directions. We expect the traffic will be heavy in Kirkham for a short time. Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst officers dealt with the RTC.

We are appealing for information, CCTV and dashcam footage following a burglary in Fleetwood.

Our officers were called to Kenilworth Avenue at around 1:30pm on April 1, 2024, to a report of a burglary.

Last week the Fylde Rural Taskforce conducted a warrant in St Annes. A man, 31, from St Annes was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs, production of cannabis & possession of a section 5 firearm. He's been released under investigation #OpWarrior

Fylde Rural Task Force with the assistance of Border Force have conducted a drugs warrant in Warton. Persons have been identified and the investigation is still ongoing.

The 20 kg of cannabis is suspected to be worth around £200,000, which has now been taken off the streets.

Last week Fylde Rural Task Force arrested Ricky Mynott (35) of Woodlands Road, St Annes. He has been charged with stalking, criminal damage, assault x2 and assault an emergency worker x2. He has been remanded in prison and will appear before Blackburn Magistrates on 28/03/24.

Fylde Rural Task Force today executed a drugs warrant in St Annes alongside Armed Response Unit and Dog Unit. A quantity of drugs and taser device have been seized. A male and female have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and possession of a firearm.

**Road reopened **

Further to our earlier post regarding the road closure on Cumberland Avenue, Thornton Cleveleys we can now update you that the road has reopened.

Officers are on scene and dealing with a road traffic collision on Blackpool Road, Poulton Le Fylde and have closed the road from Four Lane Ends to Greenhays Avenue. This closure will remain in place for some time so please plan your route accordingly to avoid the area .

An assault on a juvenile has been reported over the weekend.

The Rural Task Force have assisted the Kirkham NHP team to take positive action. 4 juveniles have been arrested & bailed with conditions.

Robust policing methods will be used to tackle criminality and ASB issues.

Yesterday, Fylde Rural Task Force arrested a male who had breached his court bail conditions on multiple occasions.

Craig Bayliss, aged 49 from St Annes has now been charged with four breaches of court bail and has stood before the Courts today.
