Earlier I joined colleagues from #TeamWAST and other ambulance services across the UK at the TASC The Ambulance Staff Charity #NASM2023 to remember those no longer with us. It was a privilege to read The Emergency Services Poem as part of the service.

We did it! 166 secondary schools visited by 700 volunteers who taught CPR to around 35,000 youngsters - in just seven hours! Thank you to EVERYONE for making our 10th anniversary #RestartaHeart Day so memorable❤️👏

Many of our staff/volunteers don't get to spend Christmas Day with their families and friends - they're too busy saving lives and making sure the rest of us can have a wonderful Christmas. Today, we wish them and all our communities across the North West, a very merry Christmas.
