Higher education in Africa is facing a significant decline. While there are exceptions, the overall trend remains deeply concerning. Urgent action is needed to reverse this trajectory. #AfricaWeek

Higher education should not be detached from society. Movements like #FeesMustFall in South Africa and the Arab Spring prove that universities are central to political activism and transformation.
