Read or listen to Gothamist’s Just your friendly neighborhood transit reporter on NPR to discuss the impacts of congestion relief on traffic… Spoiler alert: it’s a lot better. npr.org/2025/05/05/nx-…

Another day, another made-up deadline passes from Secretary Sean Duffy, who would rather argue and play games than support a proven program to invest in working New Yorkers. Congestion relief is alive and well. Bring it on, Washington.

#CongestionPricing is staying in action. We love to see it — better streets, funded transit, and cleaner air are still alive in NYC.

Good news that Judge Liman granted a temporary restraining order against the Trump administration unlawful attempt to "cancel" congestion pricing. We attended the court hearing, and joined an amicus brief in support of the program. buff.ly/BcrkpeY

Today, a federal judge heard arguments from both the MTA and the DOJ regarding the Trump Admin's bogus congestion relief lawsuit. We were in the room, and let's just say it was not a good day for Secretary Sean Duffy's lawyers... New Yorkers won't back down from Washington's attacks.

The Trump administration tried to unlawfully shut down congestion pricing.  It didn’t work.    Traffic is down, business is up, and the cameras are staying on.

This just in: Judge Liman has followed yesterday's TRO with a preliminary injunction barring US DOT from halting congestion pricing or from threatening retaliation against any other New York project as the case unfolds. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…

This week, coalition leaders were at the court to celebrate another victory in Trump's ongoing attacks against the congestion relief program. This pretty much sums up the feeling:

How would we describe NYC's last few months? Gloom and vroom! 🚗💨 It may rain every weekend, but at least our streets are finally moving – all thanks to congestion relief!

The facts are clear: the congestion relief program works. Big thanks to @regionalplan for breaking down the data and showing just how effective it really is.

Last week, PCAC to the MTA (🦋@pcac.org) joined New York Building Congress and Alstom USA at the Transportation Infrastructure Summit in Philly to dive into all things congestion relief. Building better cities is a joint effort. Great to see these partners working together for a faster, cleaner, safer NYC.
