His existence and job have always been hilariously misinterpreted/misunderstood/gleefully ignored in favor of contrived fantasy. The stuff he was hired for is not going anywhere just because he is. The ideas and infrastructure seem like something ownership is pretty invested in.

Depodesta became a George Soros like boogyman to the more conspiracy brained browns fans , but he was never as important as those browns fans would tell you. I do think he was a plus when it came to identifying head coaching talent and that might be missed this offseason
