This film still stands as one of my all-time favorite projects! So lucky and honored to have worked with our brilliant writer-director Ray Yeung on this gem.

Front Cover was a gift to me in that it helped catalyze my reflections on what it means to be Asian, Asian-American, and an actor. All the deep research, the creative collaboration, and the light we were able to shed on further humanizing Asians and Asian-Americans…

I'm so damn proud of this movie! Have always thought of Ning and Ryan as opposite sides of the same coin: One who was ultra nationalistic and proud of his Chinese identity but hiding and ashamed of being gay… Whereas Ryan couldn't have been a prouder, more out fashionista...
