This tour starts close to home at Heythrop Park this week and Olly is currently top of the leaderboard with a few holes left to play in R1!👏🏻👏🏻

Despite some biblical rain yesterday morning, the Club was open today and the course remained in great condition to host the Rob Rock Junior Tour!

The grand opening of The Blue Course in 1994 by the Chairman, Joe Skelton, and Captain, Barry Mainstone.

30 years on the course is recognised for hosting Euro Pro Tour events and Ladies World Amateur ranking events.

As we continue to dive into the history of Frilford Heath, you may not know that prior to the Ryder Cup in 1931, there were 2 'trials' for the 24-man squad - the second being played at Frilford Heath on 7 March 1931.

As we explore the history of Frilford Heath, one of the most iconic photos taken is from the 36-hole exhibition match in 1909, officially opening the course - played between Harry Vardon and J H Taylor.

Vardon came out on top with a 5&3 victory.

As the world's best golfers take the iconic drive down Magnolia Lane to start Round 1 of The Masters today, many of our members have commented on the similarities it shares with our very own 😍

Last year, we celebrated the grand re-opening our of Clubhouse and the renaming of the Taylor & Turner Rooms. The rooms were named after our first professional and architect of the Green Course, J. H Turner and Red Course architect J.H. Taylor.

The second and final phase of Green Course bunker renovation is now complete and open for play today.

Amazing work from the Greenkeeping team to transform 66 bunkers over the last two winters completely in-house.

Great start to the Oxfordshire Junior Golf League season with a hard-fought 2-1 away win at Kirtlington; who played very well around their own course.

It was a pleasure to host the Oxfordshire Ladies County Training on Sunday, and the weather turned for the better - is this the first sign of spring...? 🌷

Some exciting dishes and wines are going to be on show this evening at our spring wine and menu tasting this evening. We are looking forward to sharing these with some of our members and getting their feedback.
