The Chapin family immigrated to America, between 1630 and 1635. #DevonHour

Samuel Chapin died in Springfield in November 1675. #DevonHour

Offspring included 2 United States Presidents, a Canadian Prime Minister, financier JP Morgan, poet and playwright T'S Eliot. #DevonHour

In 1927 Chapin’s family gave the Reredos to the church and this year celebrates 90 years of the Reredos. #DevonHour
