Just a reminder - researchers at DCU Centre for Jazz & Contemporary Music are looking for musicians, music teachers, and music students to take part in an online experiment. Participants have a chance to win a €200 Thomann voucher! Visit bit.ly/muscog2 to take part.

I have been a PhD student at Theology & Philosophy @ DCU for the last 3.5 years. 110% recommend it to anyone looking to do research in Theology, Philosophy, or Ethics. Everyone is warm and encouraging and you would get some excellent PhD colleagues😆

Had much fun presenting at the Irish Theological Association's Emerging Scholars Forum in St Patrick's Pontifical University yesterday on how Sholem Asch addresses Christian anti-Judaism through his depiction of the trial of Jesus in 'The Nazarene'. Here is me mid-gesticulation.

This is such wonderful news! All four have been so encouraging and supportive of me and my work. Allies in the truest sense. I am especially delighted to see my fabulous supervisor, Dr Jonathan Kearney Theology & Philosophy @ DCU, on this list; I am schlepping naches.

Immensely grateful to my supervisors Dr Peter Admirand and Dr Jonathan, to my examiners, Prof. Adele Reinhartz and Dr Brad Anderson, and to everyone at Theology & Philosophy @ DCU and Music @ DCU especially Dr Barbara Dignam Barbara Dignam for being the most excellent viva chairperson

Four years and eleven months later, here we are. Thanks to everyone in Theology & Philosophy @ DCU and Music @ DCU for making this such an enjoyable and enriching journey.

Congratulations in particular to our PhD students, Freya and Dr Angelos Mavropoulos! In good company with their fellow Music @ DCU graduates Dr Hannah Millington and Giovanna Feeley.

On 24 Oct, I put on the puffy hat and officially became a doctor of Philosophy. Sounds unreal put like that. Indebted to my incredible supervisors Dr Peter Admirand and Dr Jonathan Kearney for getting me this far and everyone at Theology & Philosophy @ DCU and Music @ DCU for their many kindnesses.
