Right now Preston’s Labour Council is building £60m+ worth of projects in the city centre; a cinema/restaurant complex, small business hub & the UK’s first integrated Museum, Art Gallery & Library.

All publicly owned with any surplus returns benefitting the people of Preston…

Even if Angela Rayner did save £1,500 on tax, that’s considerably less than the £700+bn the rich saved by tax cuts over the past 14 years.

I’m more angry than I should be but surely they should have let Russell Cook cross the line a couple of steps in front of everyone else.

I genuinely believe this guy hasn’t had anywhere near the coverage he should have.

What an achievement.

The public should have listened to Gordon Brown. After 14 years of Tory rule every single public service is in a financial mess or failing.

A record low 24% said they were satisfied with the NHS in 2023.

Before the Tories got in power the NHS was scored by experts to be the best health system in the world. Today it ranks as worst in Europe.
