Today marks the ratification of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. Tennessee's role as the deciding 36th state to ratify this amendment on August 18, 1920, is a proud moment in our state's history.

During the 114th General Assembly, we eliminated fax requirements and cut red tape across state government. Making government work FOR the people!
