If you are a member of Surrey Heath Conservatives I’d encourage you to choose Sebastian Payne tonight as your candidate. A thoughtful, compassionate, hardworking and independent-minded Conservative.

Great to see The Spectator's Lucy Dunn as one of the three panel members on STV's leaders' debate last night.

Sunak played no part in the financial crisis, contrary to what's suggested by this ad. It finds him guilty by association: because of where he worked, not what he did.

Odd to see Labour trying to revive banker-bashing, in spite of failure of Miliband's 2015 'predator' theme.

This Labour advert uses the 'evil financier' meme to attack Sunak.

IMO this more authentically represents Labour's view of financiers than the kisses being blown to business now by Reeves etc.

Video ends by asking voters to reject Sunak because of his time in business, not gvt.

“I’m a grass cutter, not a caddy” - lovely moment from Dougie Macintyre, Oban golf course greenkeeper, when his son, 27, wins the Canadian Open - and £1.3m.

So much for Putin’s Kharkiv offensive. He succeeded only in persuading Biden to let Ukraine use HIMARS missiles to hit targets in Russian territory. Here are the remains of a Russian S-300 missile system that had been used to terrorise Kharkiv.

By me for The Spectator: 'For too long the system has been open to abuse by chancers and abusive males who perhaps see an opportunity to impose themselves on women.'

This is Iryna Tsybukh, 25, a volunteer combat medic. “I want kids,' she says in this video. “I want children. I want a house. I want to plant tomatoes… but ending the war is the most important thing.” Hundreds turned out for her funeral in Kyiv yesterday.

From a Swedish conservative MP - ahead of the coming Euro elections.

UK has shown that it's not just the EU. Brexit tools need to be understood and properly used. If they are not, then frustration is directed not at Brussels but UK Government (as Tories now discovering).
