Thanks, Nabangshu Dev Sharma and Scion, for the opportunity to present our research Leung Research Group on ethylene biosynthesis. It was an invaluable experience in Rotorua, with its beautiful views and professional scientists from different fields.
Good luck Francis Kuang School of Chemistry | University of Melbourne Bio21 Institute for your talk in the ECR session of the 1st Royal Australian Chemical Institute GASC.OZ Green and Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering Conference. Francis will talk about his PhD work on ethylene biosynthesis for sustainable agriculture
Congratulations to Andrew & Gabriel, who spent this semester in our lab for their 3rd year research project School of Chemistry | University of Melbourne. Thank you for your hard work. I hope the experience was useful. Big shout out to Francis Kuang who helped to design the projects & supervised the students.
Congratulations Francis Kuang for the Dr Jim Desmarchelier Scholarship School of Chemistry | University of Melbourne, which allowed him to spend time at the Mercanante lab Davide Mercadante Faculty of Science | Te whare Pūtaiao to do MD simulations. Francis is currently writing up his work so hopefully there will be a publication soon.
A fruitful first (full) day at the Biomolecular Horizons conference #BMH2024 in Melbourne. Good luck Francis Francis Kuang, Glenda Glenda and Chai Xin for your poster presentations. Francis will also be giving an oral presentation on Thursday! School of Chemistry | University of Melbourne Bio21 Institute
The third session of #ClimateChangeDay of #BMH2024 was more enzyme focused, starting with a keynote by Seigo Shima, and how we can manipulate these enzymes to help organisms in the face of a changing global climate. Incl. an awesome talk by my co-conveynor Chris Chris Greening
Congratulations to Dr Ivanhoe Leung Leung Research Group on receiving the Royal Australian Chemical Institute 2024 Welcome Ward.
Fantastic Australian Society of Plant Scientists #asps2024 Session 1 of Vic node, exploring a diverse range of plant biology topics! Exciting insights and great discussions all around! 🌱
Finally attended my first plant conference during my PhD, #ASPS24 at the Melbourne node! Grateful for the opportunity to present my work on ethylene inhibitors using a multidisciplinary approach combining enzyme chemistry and plant biology. Australian Society of Plant Scientists
