Even a very brief visit to Rome needs to include a moment of prayer in Saint Peter’s. Praying for all of you who see this. What shall I pray for in particular?

Roaming through the streets of Paris, one cannot miss the great architectonic minds that have been at work here.

An unexpected free afternoon became a beautiful and prayerful pilgrimage through Paris, from the tomb of Saint Vincent de Paul to the chapel of the Miraculous Medal, and finally the Sacre Coeur, the church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The university students I met in Tirana are great at asking, listening, and thinking! And in all this, they also give evidence of their faith. Our discussions continued until late at night, so many themes needed to be covered!

What a beautiful day! Albania’s nature is breathtaking, especially when enjoyed in such good company. We could almost see the hand of God creating the earth with great care and love.

In Tirana, Albania, we encounter a lot of interest in our initiatives. It is great to see how many people want to hear about the DeoQuest approach to finding answers to their questions.

When I studied in Rome, Trastevere used to belong to the Romans. It still does in the morning, but I notice that in the evening they have to share it with great flocks of tourists who overtake the quarter with music and celebration.

Saint Peter’s Basilica is probably the most famous church in the world. St Peter is buried right underneath the dome in a Roman cemetery, which even today lies underneath the great church. Many places in #Rome offer a view of its famous dome!

Castel Sant’Angelo, named after St Michael, is linked to the Vatican by an 800m elevated passage that has served on various occasions as an escape route for the pope. Thankfully, it has not been used for centuries!

Great encounters in various quarters of the city of Rome with DeoQuest volunteers and supporters.

A school retreat run by our DeoQuest team set the hall almost literally on fire. Traveling to our next destination we are warned for kangaroos but encounter dromedaries.

It was marvellous to experience how the youth group Divino Coração in São Paulo, Brazil, is deeply interested in learning more about faith and seeking inspiration with the saints. These young people do create great things. God is good!

Near the beautiful Metropolitan Cathedral of São Paulo, we had an interesting meeting at the Paulus Bookstore, with an engaging group of people asking burning questions about faith and the role of the faithful in today's society. I look forward to our next meetings here in Brazil

On our first day in São Paulo, Brazil, I experience the spirit of Latin America's biggest city. We have various things going on at the same time - workshops, recordings, brainstorm sessions - but without forgetting the main reason for it all... Jesus!

I experienced my very first #YabbyRace at the village school of Manildra, Australia. Early in the morning, the kids caught these crayfish in local creeks, where they will be returned after school. The first yabby to leave the circle wins, and the proceeds go to charity.
