Had a fabulous INSET today. A lot of really productive discussion around supporting children’s social and emotional development as well as their academic development. Have a great team who have great passion in reflecting.

When you feel the need to just lounge somewhere that is far too small for you.

The sun is slowly disappearing from the sky but I promised myself that I would swim in the sea at least once a week as it’s something I enjoy. The best time when there are few people in the water.

Beautiful walk back. Cool breeze and a tranquil atmosphere.

My daughters regularly make me feel proud. My younger daughter who took herself into a completely new situation, managed solely by herself, had a successful start this week and my elder daughter, who despite small set backs keeps going back to take on the challenge again.

And that is what I would want.

I know I’m incredibly fortunate to live here. This little cove really provides me with some headspace in tough weeks.

This is really beginning to sink in after several conversations recently.

I love this and have already started steps towards some things I’ve put off for too long.

Love this time of year. Deserted beaches, miles of rugged coastline and the sound of the slightly bigger seasonal waves crashing against the shore. A good place to gather thoughts, increase mental resilience and just reflect.

Today, I’m heading beyond the small pool of water into the wider open sea to find out what new possibilities are out there. Feeling inspired and adventurous today.

So, someone lovely told me today to gather some stones of the things that are weighing me down and throw them into the sea. I’m here to do that today. What a calm evening to do that on. I thought the idea was really touching.

Haven’t been here for a while - feeling stronger, fitter and calm. New pathway beginning.
