Widespread showers and storms increase in coverage beginning late Thursday morning. Heavy rainfall may lead to flooding, especially south of I-20. A strong storm or two is possible. Behind this system, high pressure builds for the weekend. Expect plenty of sunshine and heat!

While there is a low threat for severe storms, flooding is our greatest concern for Thursday. Strongest storms and heaviest rain will likely be south of DFW.

Grapevine Lake is nearly 10 feet above conservation, with many areas flooded! Anyone have pictures of the area? How is everyone else doing?

A few thunderstorms continue to move southeast from Greenville up to Paris. Brief heavy rain along with a few lightning strikes will be the main impacts.

Storms continue southeastward this evening. Heavy rain, gusty winds, and small hail remain possible.

Lower humidity briefly returns, with plenty of sunshine Tuesday. The next disturbance brings storms Wednesday night through Thursday. Behind this, we dry out and heat up for the weekend.

Strongest cell south of HWY 82 near Bonham is capable of small hail and gusty winds
