The Sweaty Betty Foundation transition session at BHS has been completely co-designed and co-delivered with teenage girls from @BannockburnHigh. From initial programme ideas, gaining the funding, delivering the sessions, even leading M&E! Total superstars and role models!💜 PROUD

I had the honor of being part in a special project launching a Sports Hijab for @SweatyBetty as part of #IWD2024, created by @Lipa_Nessa. Sweaty Betty Foundation have donated a set number of units to girls across the UK for PE and Sports. To sisterhood and being your authentic self 🖤

Designed by girls and Sports Activist Lipa Nessa, we focussed on the 4 key features girls told us were vital to creating the best hijab, designed specifically for physical activity 👏 Here’s some further insight provided by our Sweaty Betty design team!

Last weekend we met with our newly recruited #playherway champions as part of the Girls Powered Programme funded by Sweaty Betty foundation in the Greater Manchester area.   We supported 12 girls to access a social media content creation workshop. Sweaty Betty Foundation

Our area for teenage girls is in! 2.5 years of engagement and fundraising. Top of their list was a communal swing, and social seating (including climby seating). It’s a start, it’s a statement. It’s an area they can just ‘be’ teenagers! @MakeSpaceforGi1
