Happy to be travelling to speak at CLEO 2023’s Special Symposium “Celebrating Optical-Guided Wave Solitons”, lnkd.in/ejxaUnrE alongside Im(Sergei K. Turitsyn) from Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies and Engineering@Aston, and to meet Dr Natsupa Taengnoi of ORC Southampton whose excellent PhD thesis I read recently.

Spotting this iconic part of UK telecoms infrastructure in the news this morning en route to the TOP Conference reminded me of fantastic @epsrc TRANSNET researchers event hosted there last year thanks to Andrew Lord of BT and Polina Bayvel of UCL EEE
