Fellas - entering into a relationship, especially living together, and expecting everything to be done for you *unless you’re asked to do it* is part of our problem. Some of y’all never learned to make a meal, wash the dishes, or do a load of laundry, and it shows.

Said like the guy who once told me not to chirp at the rec league indoor soccer ref, and then not 5 minutes later, got carded *from the sideline* for…chirping at the rec league indoor soccer ref #pandas4ever Red Pandas FC

Most underrated way to help a campaign is getting a big list of voters and actually calling through hundreds of them with a script from the campaign. If you can do that you are a supervolunteer. It is a hard to fill job and it matters.

It’s Labor Day weekend! Unions fight for working people & are responsible for successfully lobbying policymakers to legislate minimum wages, overtime pay, & paid time off. We’re not done w/ this work but we’re further along because unions engage the political system. 41 days!

America’s support for unions is higher today than at any time in nearly 60 years. But Congress needs to pass the Protecting the Right to Organize Act to make it easier to form a union and fight for your fair share.

This isn’t a judgment, it’s a call to action. Too many folks believe their one vote won’t make a difference, while elections are won by razor thin margins in incredibly low turnout contests. Those who win, make big decisions about how we all live our lives. 40 days til Oct 11!

There is no moral justification for today’s extraordinary concentration of wealth. It is distorting our politics, rigging our markets, and granting unprecedented power to a handful of people. Wealth can’t be separated from power. Power begets wealth and wealth begets power.

39 days left to register to vote in the November elections. More of your everyday life is impacted by decisions made at the state and local level than by who sits in the White House (which is also important!). Governing occurs with the consent of the governed. Make your mark!

A lot of folks don’t vote because they feel like nothing ever changes. And when the same 40% of eligible voters show up to vote, you can understand why. The hard truth is, they’ve got to change their mind on the value of voting in order to create the change they want. 37 days!
