Worry about the planet we are leaving the next generation? We do too. As parents we advocate for climate action & want to help parents on their advocacy journey

Thanks for helping spread the word about Kidical Mass! We are so excited to see the community come together and demonstrate who wants (and needs) to be able to get around the city without a car. A better greener future is possible and people want to see it happen!

We love this! Families biking safely with their kids on car-free streets AND free ice cream (thank you The Merry Dairy and Parkways for People) and free coffee (thank you Happy Goat Coffee Co.). Bring noise makers, bubble machines, costumes, or just yourself! Let’s have some fun!

Climate action needs to intrinsically include affordability and vice versa. Families are already struggling; insufficient climate action and policies are not going to make that better - only worse.

Biking can and should be a primary means of transportation that is safe and accessible for all! We are hosting a fun, family-friendly group bike ride on Sat Sept 28, #kidicalmass, specifically to highlight this to our local and provincial governments. eventbrite.ca/e/kidical-mass…

Lots of ways to get involved in #KidicalMass family group ride on Saturday! Whether you are riding a bike or on foot, come out and help us show our city how many residents and kiddos want safe, connected bike paths!

Oh! So that’s the problem.. we just need more helmets! Thank you Minister. Maybe you should inform ppl in Amsterdam they should wear helmets to protect them from injury…oh wait..they don’t have as many injuries.. just lots of safe bike lanes.. huh weird.. must be a coincidence

Yes, let’s talk about the “other” highway that already exists please.. (now because of that pesky “induced demand” problem this will eventually also be congested, but at least we won’t have wasted billions to show that).

Looking for some inspiration for signs for Saturday’s #kidicalmass? We can’t wait to see what #ottawa kiddos come up with and their parents! eventbrite.ca/e/kidical-mass… Looking forward to the free ice cream, free coffee and sunny weather for a great group ride on car-free streets

The future of mobility is not guys in their overpriced and oversized sports cars but women in their adequately priced and sized bikes/e-bikes.

As parents, we wld rather have congestion than risk the lives of even one more person who is someone’s child, parent, or grandchild or sibling. Banning or removing safe bicycling infrastructure is not worth the risk, ESPECIALLY because it DOESN’T improve traffic congestion.

The scariest thing about Halloween is #OttCity streets and intersections.  If you must drive tonight, please drive slowly and stay alert, especially in residential neighbourhoods. #otttraffic #Halloween2024 👻🎃💀🎃👻💀

Fantastic turnout at today's rally against Ford's anti-bike lane legislation! We joined our community outside of Château Laurier, where Doug Ford and Mayor Sutcliffe attended a conference. Sign our petition to save Ottawa's bike lanes! ecologyottawa.ca/bill_212_petit…
