If you're solely focused on students not getting hurt, then you might have noticed that before the events you describe occurred, pro-Palestinian protesters beat a Jewish student unconscious. But maybe, maybe that's not your sole concern.

It's nice to see bipartisan support for Jews but this congressional bill to expand the definition of antisemitism is bad for the U.S. and bad for Jews. This country was literally founded on the idea that there should be no government reprisals for speech, including hate speech.

This matters, because it means that during the heyday of American capitalism, the era the right often rightly celebrates as the time of raw opportunity and better standards of living, Black Americans experienced a very discounted version thereof.
