Enjoyed listening today to @drewcanole on Cayla Craft’s podcast. Drew is a former foster kid who is now a published author, business founder, etc. We use our life-changing books & CDs, as well as our self-esteem-boosting suitcases, to help more foster kids build bright futures.

Our first-ever suitcase delivery was to a Royal Family Kids Camp for 100 foster kids. In addition to bringing the suitcases, @anthonydsalerno brought live music, and our founder, Tony Salerno, spoke. We received many good reports afterward. It was an excellent way to kick off!

@ Saturday’s luncheon, we were blessed with former-foster-kid speakers Emilio Carranza-Davis (keynote) and Carl Sims (short message); live music from Miss Lillie of “Oh Happy Day,” @danielmamora and Anthony D Salerno & Tiffany Salerno of Moose & Squirrel Media; and yums from Coyote Hills Golf.

It’s great to have event attendees participate in packing FK suitcases because it takes the concept of helping foster kids to a truly tangible place. Each case includes a book and fun CD that introduce values like respect, self-control and kindness.
