Public parks and community gardens can play a key role in engaging children in nature, improving wellbeing and creating climate resilience. We must protect and properly fund both for now and future generations.

Thanks to the Rewilders that came on Saturday.
We raked and seeded the bank by the Oxford Rd gate and behind the Alpha dogs school. Cut back lots of brambles and made a spiked hedge to discourage the litter and antisocial behaviour we get in some areas of the park. #wildflowers

#year5 submitted their plan to #WildCity2024 for their designs to be reviewed by Salters' Institute with the possibility of Edible_Landscapes_London bring them to life. They thought long and hard about the #biodiversity that could be brought into the garden before creating each plant.

#year5 have been thinking carefully about the plants they want in their playground for the Salters' Institute and Edible_Landscapes_London competition. They started to base their pot designs on each plant they want in their garden and what this would add to the space #education #STEM #ks2
