Did you spot the incredible moment Nick met Marius, his stem cell donor and lifesaver, on BBC Breakfast this morning? Nick was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) in 2021, a form of blood cancer where your body produces faulty red blood cells.

The rugby community have rallied around Ellis, as we search for a stem cell donor to treat his leukaemia. Over 500 people signed up, following events at University of Bristol and Old Redcliffians RFC , bringing the total number of people who have signed up in Ellis' name to over 650!

20,000 potential donors have now signed up to the stem cell register by the incredible team at Scottish Fire and Rescue Service! An amazing achievement, showing just how important our partners are in helping us continue our lifesaving work.💚
