It's now looking increasingly likely Liam Ryan will depart West Coast Eagles for St Kilda FC at the end of the season. Teammates and staff are expecting his exit. St Kilda have a multi-year deal on offer. Ryan has 1-year left on his deal. Still a slight chance he remains at WC.

Champion Geelong Cats defender Mitch Duncan is drawing interest from clubs as a development/asst coach. The West Coast Eagles are among those keen to add his expertise. Would be a non-playing role. Duncan's originally from WA - also has strong family ties in Geelong area.

Luke Jackson is in Victoria this week for personal reasons. The Fremantle Dockers star left after Friday night’s game and will remain there this week. Club extremely supportive of the situation. Jackson will train and prepare for the game remotely - with assistance from Freo

The conversations between the West Coast Eagles and Harley Reid’s mgmt are moving in a positive direction - but a lot of work still to be done. A possible deal would be a 2-3 yr extension rather than the monster 2+9 yr deal. Would likely see Harley join Nasiah in the $2 mill

Would’ve been historically unlucky to miss finals with 15 wins for Fremantle Dockers. Instead they turned up, flexed, and earned a home final. 4th time in club history they’ve won 16 games. Credit to Justin Longmuir and his staff.

Jayden Hunt has announced his retirement from the AFL. Hunt played 172 AFL games - including his last 58 for West Coast Eagles.

Fun night this Saturday for Fremantle Dockers fans. Tony Modra, Alex Pearce and Ben Allan. Tickets here! eventbrite.com.au/e/155835785328…

Along with Jayden Hunt's retirement, the West Coast Eagles have delisted trio Callum Jamieson, Jack Petruccelle and Loch Rawlinson.

Willie Rioli has told Port Adelaide FC he's retiring from the AFL. The 2018 West Coast Eagles premiership forward played 108 games in a career that had the highest of highs, and a series of extreme difficulties. Clever, crafty and entertaining.

Jordan Clark, Andy Brayshaw, Caleb Serong and Luke Jackson the Fremantle Dockers players named in the 44-man All-Australian Squad. Team to be named Thursday night. No WC players in the squad.

Harley Reid is locked in at West Coast Eagles. The young star and West Coast have agreed on an extension. Details to come.

Two year extension, takes Harley to the end of 2028 with West Coast Eagles. Would suggest the 💰 nudges into the $2 million per year range.

The Harley situation shifted significantly back in July when Harley's manager approached West Coast Eagles with a desired deal. It was the first major indication Harley was looking to stay - opening negotiations which led to today. Monumental signature for club and its fans.

The West Coast Eagles have made some coaching changes. Assistant coach Jarrad Schofield will depart the Club alongside ruck coach Ryan Turnbull, who has stepped away due to increasing work and family commitments.

Liam Baker's one-match ban has been upheld by the AFL Tribunal. He'll miss the West Coast Eagles season opener in 2026.

Busy day at Lathlain. Liam Ryan has informed the West Coast Eagles he wishes to be traded.

The offers put toward Campbell Chesser by West Coast Eagles and Carlton FC are similar in terms of years/money. Decision looms for the former 1st round pick. Just 36 games in four seasons - mostly held back by injury - but a strong finish to 2025 has him in demand.

Big loss for West Coast Eagles with High Performance Manager Mathew Inness heading to Essendon FC. Has lived away from family during his 2-yr stint at WC, so this always felt inevitable. Has done a superb job getting players on the park, after a few years of injury turmoil.
