Progress on site at The Durley Chine Environmental Innovation Hub! The layered concrete reflects the form of the cliff and uses local materials to keep carbon levels low. The increased wall thickness means reinforcement can be omitted, further reducing the environmental impact.

Works are continuing on the Durley Chine Environmental Innovation Hub after the peak summer season. Towards the end of September, the timber frame for the main building of the hub will be craned into place.

It was great visiting Footprint Architects in Bournemouth yesterday and speaking with Peter about their latest project; the Durley Chine Environmental Innovation Hub & Visitors Centre. It's the greenest structure they've ever made, using recycled materials, has net zero carbon & more!
