New paper out! Rossi, Meluzzi & Lahoz-Bengoechea investigate the acoustic features of Italian sibilant fricatives (/s/, /z/ and /ʃ/) in the speech of L1 Spanish learners. Segmental duration, degree of voicing and place of articulation of learners’ productions are analysed.
