In Ms. Lee’s 3rd grade class, students enjoyed learning about fossils in Science. They used cookies and tooth picks to enact being archeologists discovering fossils by excavating chocolate chips out of the cookies with tooth picks. #CelebrateFonde MobilePublicSchools

Mrs. Wagner's 3rd graders became “doctors” - performing grammar surgery!  Our medical team read of each patient’s symptoms, made a diagnosis, & then staged a transplant:  noun, verb, adjective, pronoun, conjunction, or adverb.  They also completed post-op reports! #CelebrateFonde

Mrs. Robinson's 5th graders were learning how to graph points on a coordinate grid.  After they learned how to do it, they plotted points to make a mystery picture, which was a kite. #CelebrateFonde MobilePublicSchools #LearningLeading

After other activities on graphing points on a coordinate grid, Mrs. Robinson's 5th graders played the game Battleship. They used coordinate grids to place their boats and hope the other person didn't call an ordered pair where their ships were. #CelebrateFonde MobilePublicSchools

These Fonde Owls have worked hard throughout their years in school, learning English as a second language. They were awarded for meeting the state exit score of a 4.8 or higher on the ACCESS test. They have officially completed the ESL program!! #CelebrateFonde MobilePublicSchools

Fonde Pre-K has had a motto of all being a family this year. Our two Pre-K classrooms often plan and do things together, creating bond between all! This year has been full of growth, laughter, and fond memories! We’re so thankful to wrap up the year with a spectacular showcase!

Mrs. Strachan's 1st graders learned about shapes. They created a pizza using shapes as their pepperonis. Once the pizzas were made, students filled in a data sheet. At the end they compared them by asking who had the most, least, or the same # of shapes. #CelebrateFonde
