Mum: ‘Did you know Martin who was always in the pub? He was Irish.’
Me: ‘I remember a guy everyone called Irish Martin, I assume it’s him?’
Mum: ‘That’s him - though me and Gwen called him Fartin’ Martin. Anyway, he died, his funeral was Monday. Very sad.’
