CRO Wesley R. Brooks, Ph.D. joined FL Wildlife Corridor Foundation's Mallory Dimmitt at the 2024 Governor's Conference on Tourism in Tampa to share how Florida's conservation & resilience successes are safeguarding our environment + drawing more economic activity to communities across our state!

This critical funding will also address road-related drainage improvements, supporting resilience & water quality benefits to provide a more sustainable foundation for the economic development Florida's transportation projects bring to our rural counties!

At the 2024 Resilient Florida Conference, CRO Wesley R. Brooks, Ph.D. moderated a panel to share insights on efforts to infuse resilience & mitigation into state agency missions to better support all of the inland + coastal communities in which Floridians live, work, & recreate.

FL's 5 water management districts are key entities in implementing our comprehensive approach to resilience. At the 2024 Florida Resilience Conference, WMD leaders shared project updates + lessons learned in their efforts to enhance regional flood protection & water supply.
