Islington Council are building 27 new homes on Beaumont Rise. It’s taken them… just 6 years so far! And the place is still a building site. 2 weeks ago, 24/7 security turned up - sometimes between 5-10 people. Apparently, squatters had moved in.

Incredible. This account documents questionable financial choices by Haringey Council. The BBC reporting highlights basic negligence & life changing consequences for at least one resident. The generally reasonable Lucia das Neves apology noted; but where is the accountability.
