Great reminder from Douglas Fisher & McGraw Hill PreK-12 that scaffolds are meant to be temporary for our learners. We raise them to support, but remove them for learning. Otherwise, we obstruct the learning, much like the view of the Statue of Liberty, if we leave scaffolds up.
This is a really inspiring look at what principled leadership can look like. Well done froebelianfutures. I just hope the ripples move into England!
I heard recently "we need to be able to promote play versus traditional education." I think really we need to change the popular narrative so people recognise that play isn't revolutionary. Play actually is evolutionary- it is traditional education. Upstart Scotland Suzanne Zeedyk
