Great reminder from Douglas Fisher & McGraw Hill PreK-12 that scaffolds are meant to be temporary for our learners. We raise them to support, but remove them for learning. Otherwise, we obstruct the learning, much like the view of the Statue of Liberty, if we leave scaffolds up.
