SCOTO is in🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿! If you attended our Gathering you will have heard the melodious accents of a few Gwynedd delegates. They invited SCOTO's Carron Tobin to'Can tourism work for communities?' to share our insights. We're🤩 about this Celtic alliance + valuable lessons we can share.

Inevitable perhaps but sad nonetheless. A reflection perhaps of how much it takes for volunteers to run sporting clubs, churches and so on in their spare time.

Lucky loved Lindean so maybe that's it. As we never swam there on the few occasions he came he barked at the bank at my stupidity. But I've only swam once since he's gone even though I know I love it and feel better for it. Forced myself this morning. It was good. Sad but good.

Pleased to be mentioned in the Telegraph today as an example of a community taking on once VisitScotland closed its office. Face to face is vitally important to making visitors feel welcome and supplying them with the local information you won’t find online.

Some great examples across Scotland. From North to South. Love that Barra reopens if the ferry is late. Visited very warm welcome. Which one have you visited?
