This is what #LondonLovesCycling looked like for me today. First time on a Pedal Me for my niece on our way to the theatre this afternoon. She was a little unsure at first but was joyful and elated by the end of the ride

Transport should never just be reduced down to the A to B. There's always more to it than that and the whole journey experience is just as important as the destination.

Behaviour change measures such as cycle skills training are invaluable. But without first building the infrastructure to match and make those journeys feel safe, it can be a complete waste of resources

Meanwhile this recently finished block in central London sits completely empty. All units fully appointed with kitchens etc. Presumably because it's not financially viable enough for the landowner to actually let people live in them. It's a disgrace. #HousingCrisis #Homelessness
