Poignant moment at end of tonight's show WaterlooEast Theatre π π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ . Normally we place an RAF hat on chair when the cast exit but tonight, on 79th anniversary of the Great Escape, we placed one of our POW costumes, remembering the 50 airmen shot, murdered, in aftermath of the escape.
#OTD 79 yrs ago a great sense of anticipation for POWs at StalagLuft III as the Great Escape would be taking place that night.
