The bicycle boat, a volunteer initiative, transports walkers and cyclists through the Vecht region between Utrecht and Amsterdam, as pre-, post- or mid-transport.

A new electric boat was put into use today, making combined boat and walking or cycling trips even more sustainable!

Bike parking at the train station of Breda, the 9th largest city in the Netherlands.

Some 30,000 passengers visit the station each day, of which roughly a third arrive or depart by bike.

That's a lot of car-free trips, facilitated by two big bike parkings and 500 shared bikes.
