This just arrived today and I’m so excited Joe Lynch🖕

And while Gordon’s influence feels obvious (given that Paoli’s script was involved), that should take no credit away from Joe Lynch. Gordon is one of the few filmmakers to make Lovecraft work on film. Lynch has joined that small circle of filmmakers to do the same.

SUITABLE FLESH plays like a lost Stuart Gordon Lovecraft adaptation. Lynch successfully channels the late horror master, injecting a seedy, lurid quality into this otherwise faithful story of eldritch rituals & body-swapping. Graham gives it her all. Lewis & Crampton great too.
