«It’s going to be huge. Devastatingly candid, supremely smart.. » Huge thanks to The Bookseller and Stu Hennigan for featuring and reviewing #homeiswherewestart Fig Tree (for an astonishing 3rd time)💙💚💛, on a list selected by UK librarians . I ❤️libraries.
ALL the stars for ‘Reading Lessons’ by Carol Atherton - a beautiful read for fellow English teachers and lovers of literature ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ See pics for my top 3 snippets
Brilliant news - #NightsOutAtHome is an instant Sunday Times bestseller! Huge congratulations to Jay Rayner, and huge thanks to everyone who has bought a copy so far 🍽️
We're so excited to show you the cover for #Deviants, the second novel by Santanu Bhattacharya 🏳️🌈 : a bold, electrifying story of a family in which three generations of gay men in India fight for love and dignity against the currents of their times. Pre-order here: penguin.co.uk/books/463144/d…
There are many light recipes in my book Nights Out At Home. This isn’t one of them: behold this brilliant toastie inspired by the XXL cheese toastie served by Michel Roux Jr at his pub the The Wigmore. I received more messages about this dish when I reviewed it than any other.
Readers in Ireland, you can now pre-order Róisín Lanigan's brilliant debut, I WANT TO GO HOME BUT I'M ALREADY THERE! linktr.ee/iwanttogohomer…
Look what's arrived! 👀🌟 (Thank you, Joanna Miller and Helen Garnons-Williams. Can't wait to start this xx) #TheEights
'Being a restaurant critic is a little bit like being an Mi6 intelligence officer, only without the pressing national security issues' On the blog, Jay Rayner shares some memorable moments that shed light on the fabulously curious life of a food critic: exyu.short.gy/Cmmco6
Bea Fitzgerald Penguin Michael Joseph Big thank you to Fig Tree for this proof of #TheEights by Joanna Miller, which follows some of the first (fictional) women to go to Oxford University in the 1920s. It sounds wonderful.
They knew they were changing history. They didn’t know they would change each other. Request #TheEights by Joanna Miller on NetGalley! Travel back to 1920 and meet Dora, Beatrice, Marianne and Otto as Oxford admits women students for the first time... netgalley.co.uk/catalog/book/4…
I loved this gorgeous memoir by susannacrossman about what it was like to grow up in a utopian commune. It is a fascinating and yet tender meditation on home. I have always been a fan of Susanna’s writing and every page sings. Just beautiful.
