New to the arXiv: with Blair Blakie + Danny at Otago we show that the excitations in 2D supersolids have three Goldstone modes, coming from the same number of broken symmetries. In particular, transverse excitations come from a non-zero shear modulus! arxiv.org/abs/2407.01072
