Jordan Johnson, a male, took ๐ฅtoday in the women's 3/4/5 at the CSU Oval Criterium in Fort Collins, CO.
Johnson took a podium spot and upgrade points from women.
Hey USA Cycling: males are standing on women's cycling podiums every weekend. Why have a women's category at all?
parkrun UK Yes at the fantastically friendly and supportive @stewartparkrun
When will parkrun UK listen to their parkrunners and volunteers and restore fairness to the female results?
This is the usual โfemales just need to try harderโ excuse
If there was no advantage to being male, then after transitioning from the male to female category, there would be no magical leap up the rankings.

How in the world is this right men celebrating finishing top of the womenโs category! These are for the women & these men are a disgrace! What message does this give to women & girls? You donโt matter but men do thatโs what parkrun UK are saying!
Keep up the brilliant work raising awareness of the unfairness to females in the parkrun UK results
At least 2 males celebrated being the first female finisher today and others were in the top 3
Shame on you parkrun
Lovely parkrun, fabulous volunteers & stunning location!
Not so stunning is that any male can enter in the female category & parkrun UK allows it !

#TruthIsNotHate yet parkrun UK still continue to discriminate against women by allowing males into the female category this skews the results for women making it unfair!

Cathy Devine Mara Yamauchi Me too ๐, ๐ฏ agree, it would have been easy for her to sit back and ignore what's happening now she's retired from competitive running.
And another one. Mara Yamauchi is an absolute hero for speaking out about the importance of female-only categories. She follows in a long tradition of sportswomen fighting for equality & non-discrimination in sport. I could not have more admiration for her.
Warrior woman.
