Our food banks across the state are preparing for the storm. Please follow your area food bank for more immediate details on closures, distributions, and support. As of right now, we know Second Harvest of the Big Bend will be CLOSED on Monday, August 5.

During Hunger Action Month we're shining a light on our SNAP Nutrition Education Program offered by all of our food banks. This initiative provides essential skills and knowledge to help families make healthier food choices, cook nutritious meals, and stretch their food budget.

Farmers Feeding Florida partners with local growers to recover and distribute fresh food to those in need. Last year, we provided 26 million pounds of fresh produce and are now adding beef, dairy, eggs, & peanut butter! This summer we rescued 70,000 gallons of milk for families!
