Day 2 of new role. Wife has gone from enjoying the fruits of my labour in the kitchen to "If you get a minute, can you run the hoover round and generally have a tidy up?" That didn't take long.

Hold on! I don't agree with all her stances, but teaching outside the classroom is a huge part of parenting. My own boys cook, play piano and chess, build airfix kits, help me with mechanics, play football and cricket. All of this is because they've been taught how.
