The Parish School at Lucan, County Dublin, an attractive & well preserved feature of the village main street. It dates to the late-Georgian period & is depicted on the 1st-edition OS map. The school moved to a new location in the 1970s & today the building is in residential use.

The evening sun glows on the statue of Thomas Spring Rice, The Peoples Park, #Limerick. The monument was put up in 1829 , when Spring Rice was only 39 years old. One of the few monuments erected to a living person.

Is it true that the former Whelan’s Pub, Thomondgate is to be demolished? The building is associated with Michael Hogan, the Bard of Thomond. #Limerick
