We earned a very hard fought for win today against Govan & Uni of Manchester FC Vets team. A heavy pitch played its part in making the game as difficult as possible but Platt Lane managed to earn a solid 5-0 win courtesy of goals from Dave Elliott, Si Wells (2), Chris Sheridan and Neil Wilson

A belated happy new year to everyone, the lads are back in action again this Sunday. Away to Govan Athletic, originally to be played at Wythenshawe Sports Ground but thr weather has meant that it wil now be played at Platt Lane Sports Complex on Yew Tree Rd, Fallowfield. KO 11am

Start the new year as you mean to go on. PLS earned a hard fought 2-0 away win this morning against a very dogged Govan Athletic. A penalty from Craig Council and a late strike from Simon Wells secured all three points as Platt Lane climb to second in the league table

The lads maintain their decent mid season form with their 3rd win in a row with a 5-2 win at home over Wigan Town. Goals from Dave Smith (a 40 yarder I hasten to add) Chris Sheridan, Si Wells, Roberto Girardi and Mike Dalzell.
