The 2nd Amendment is sacred and the rights it affords citizens of the United States are essential to their true liberty. Any politician, that speaks of diminishing or repealing the 2nd Amendment, seeks to control U.S. citizens, not protect them.

The con is that the politicians have convinced so many American voters that they, the voters, should consider themselves to be Democrats or Republicans, long before they consider themselves to be Americans.
