Just finished reading The Making of Her. I found myself nodding along to each chapter. As a teacher engaging with the challenges of the first years in a senior role, Clarissa Farr your book cuts through the noise. I know that I’ll refer back to it time and again. William Collins Books

Clarissa Farr Journal of Art in Society Thank you Clarissa. The second and later example is by Hugo van der Goes and is possibly the one painting that first hooked me and froze my gaze amidst the Uffizi & got me looking seriously at symbolism in Art so many years ago. Thus, I have a soft spot for Mr & Mrs Portinari.

Came home for half term, Dad had picked me up Clarissa Farr ‘The Making of Her’. Have listened to the podcast too! Love the idea of parents writing a letter about their child to their new schools! Families would be so lucky attending your school!

Really enjoying Clarissa Farr’s The Making of Her- funny, inspiring and visionary. As my wife said, ‘Now this woman I like’. No higher praise. Give it a go . Any recommendations for where I go next?
