The pointy bit at the bottom ear Merty Merty is Strzlecki Ck. The Cooper has hit 6-7m @ Innamincka ( 14.4m this time ) to punch it down there. It flows through the cobbler Sandhills. It’s the way Harry Redford took the cattle from QLD to Adelaide. Runs very infrequently.

The end is nearing, with majority of crops receiving their third defoliation pass this week to drop those lower leaves and open up remaining bolls.
